The narrative concept of my video will be a girl and boy gradually drifting apart in their relationship. They are not as close and they show no physical affection. Eventually they end their relationship because the girl does not have feelings for him. The girl is the main character and following her breakup, she gains more confidence in herself. Later on the girl becomes increasingly close with another girl and they flirt a lot until they eventually end up falling in love. The performative element will be the second love interest from later on in the video lip-syncing the lyrics in a close up camera shot, as they are a key element of pop music videos. The settings for the narrative section will include Neal’s Yard and Portabello Road as these places are bright and romantic looking and the performative section will be filmed in the Painted Gallery, as it appears confident and empowering. The track I have chosen is Lonely Hearts Club by MARINA MARINA is a welsh singer-songwriter known for her pop music. She came to prominence placing second in the BBC's sound of 2010.Her debut album 'The Family Jewels' entered the UK albums chart at number 5. The track 'Lonely Hearts Club' is from her follow up album Electra Heart. the album placed first in UK charts with the single 'Primadonna' taking number 12 on the UK Singles chart.   The track ‘Lonely Hearts Club’ is part of the Deluxe Bonus edition on the album along with three other songs and was the title for her tour ‘The Lonely Hearts Club Tour’ MARINA is played very often on BBC Radio 1 and has even performed in the Radio 1 Live Lounge.
